On 4th & 5th november 2019, the project team of 14 partners from industry and research met in Kaiserslautern to further develop the service platform. In several workshops requirements and solutions for the platform were identified. Furthermore, impulses for the development of micro-learning courses for industrial data analytics were set.
At the 2nd project meeting the hosts VPE (TU Kaiserslautern) and Arend Process Automation welcomed 36 participants of the project partners in the engineering 4.0 lab in Kaiserslautern. In the sense of a business meeting, the partners have pushed forward the further design of the service platform in dynamic groups. In four World Cafés, requirements for future analysis modules and dashboards, the necessary data backend system, the development of data analysis competencies and data-driven business models were identified. In workshops, concrete implementation strategies for technical realization of the platform were discussed. Additionally, main topics for the micro learning courses for industrial data analysis were prioritised and the development of learning contents was initiated. A guest lecture by Arxum focussing the topic „Blockchain“ and related potentials for data-driven collaborations and business models completed the meeting.
The IPS team looks forward to the third project meeting in spring 2020 in Saarbrücken!
