Partner presentation:

Like hardly any other company Miele stands for high-quality domestic and commercial appliances and is considered the epitome of reliable and durable products. Miele aims to impress its customers with unparalleled quality, innovative technology, perfect results and timeless elegance. “Always better”, the founders’ promise of quality, sums this up perfectly. Digital products and services from the Smart Home unit are playing an increasingly important role.

Founded in 1899, the company has eight production sites in Germany and one plant each in Austria, the Czech Republic, China, Romania and Poland. In almost 100 countries, Miele is represented by its own sales companies or via importers. Turnover in the year 2020 totalled around EUR 4.5 bn (foreign sales account for 70%). The family-run business is now in its fourth generation and is 100% owned by the two founding families Miele and Zinkann. The group employs around 21,000 people worldwide, more than 11,000 of them in Germany. Headquarters are in Gütersloh, Westphalia.

Role in project:

Miele, in its role as a user, will be pursuing the development of a holistic and networked reporting tool and the simultaneous cross-hierarchical development of expertise in the use of data within the company. In the context of an integrated quality management, the quality situation shall be evaluated and presented with feedback and learning loops.
