Brief description:
The goal of Volkswagen AG is to develop data-driven methods and tools to support holistic productivity management in Industrial Engineering (IE). The IE competence portfolio is to be expanded along the product creation process and the series production phase through the implementation of industrial data analyses. The elimination or reduction of manual analysis activities through the provision of descriptive or predictive data analyses, such as cross-site comparisons, benchmarks and the identification of best practice approaches, supports the IE staff. The holistic view in the development of industrial data analytics is an essential key for the successful implementation of data-driven business processes in the context of productivity management.
