Partner presentation:

ERCO Lichtfabrik, based in Lüdenscheid, is a leading specialist for architectural lighting with LED technology. Founded in 1934, the family-owned company operates in 55 countries worldwide with independent sales organizations and partners. Since 2015, the product range has been based entirely on LED technology. Accordingly, ERCO develops, designs and manufactures digital luminaires in Lüdenscheid with a focus on optics, electronics and design. The lighting tools are developed in close contact with architects, lighting planners and electrical planners and are primarily used in the following application areas: work and shop, culture and community, hospitality, living, public and contemplation.

Role in project:

In the role of an application partner, ERCO, as a medium-sized company, contributes competencies in the training, further development and qualification of employees to the AKKORD project. In addition, ERCO already has a database with a high degree of connectivityand the ability to use analytical approaches in supply chain management. In 2018, ERCO was the overall winner and the winner in the information technology category of the prestigious MX-Award and thus has the ideal prerequisites for designing user-friendly solutions in AKKORD.
