Role in the project:

mosaiic takes over the management and technical processing of the Use Case 8 Roll-Out Strategies in the triad of technology, organization and people. For the roll-out management of data analytics projects, we develop a method construction kit and derive concrete recommendations for the change management of companies in transition. Through intensive cooperation with the use case 2 quality management, the approach for the roll-out is tested. Furthermore, mosaiic supports the development of data-oriented business models.

As part of the research project, mosaiic is also conducting a series of expert interviews with the guiding question:

How do people react to the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) and industrial data analysis?
The goal of the AKKORD research project, sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, is to enable companies to profitably apply data analysis – both within the company and across value networks.
Data analytics projects presupposed specific IT systems (tools & infrastructure) as well as processes & roles in the companies, which require significant structural change at many companies. And the underlying culture is also like an “IT system” that executes role-based processes in the background without everyone noticing it directly. An IT system, like the corporate culture, needs an update every now and then. Especially when framework conditions and requirements change.
The development of a transformation toolkit adapted to data analysis is mosaiic’s mission within the research project.

As a basis for the development of the toolkit, we conduct a series of expert interviews on two main topics.

Humans at the center of technology
How do people react to the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) and industrial data analysis?
What impact will the application of AI have on people’s work environment?
To what extent will AI and data analytics affect people’s value systems?
What emotions will emerge as a result?

Best and bad practices from previous data analytics projects
How and in which company divisions is the topic of industrial data analysis anchored?
What are the specific project management requirements of such implementation projects?
What are the important success factors, reasons for failure?
What resistance has been encountered in data analysis projects to date and how is this resistance being dealt with?
