First Milestone and Third Consortium Meeting of the AKKORD Joint Project.

Due to the pandemic, the 14 partners of the project consortium in the AKKORD project met online on March 18th and 19th, 2020 to further develop the service platform. The meeting focused on the first milestone acceptance by the project sponsor. The successful acceptance could take place after the presentation of the project results so far.

The global covid pandemic does not stop at industrial research either. Therefore, the 3rd consortium meeting was conducted digitally. As the first milestone of the project was due at the same time, the specifications and requirements required for acceptance were presented in the four main research areas. Various requirements for a collaboration platform were developed and finally defined for collaboration, analysis, data backend but also for recommendations for action. At the same time, since the last project meeting in Kaiserslautern, the first idea for an AKKORD construction kit was developed. This served as a basis for a two-part workshop on the second day of the meeting. In these working sessions, the understanding of the concept in AKKORD could be further sharpened and the individual building blocks for the collaboration platform could be further deepened.

An unscheduled presentation by Volker Zimmermann from project partner NEOCOSMO “How companies can reach their employees in times of home office and co. How companies can reach their employees and keep them up to date in times of home office and co.” rounded off the project meeting and helped the participants a little bit to be able to deal with the challenges of the current situation also professionally.

The project partners are confident about the further course of the project and look forward to a productive time until the next consortium meeting – probably in digital form again.
